The last few weeks have been very grim for any Ebusua Dwarfs supporter as results and decisions have not gone in their favour at all.
Dwarfs according to a decision by the GFA's disciplinary committee forfeited the points in their match day 23 game against Legon Cities while three points from their accumulated points was also deducted.
The home side had recorded three defeats in their last five matches in the league and needed to turn around their poor from.
It meant there had been plunge in the dreaded relegation scrap but they fought hard to beat another relegation candidate Liberty Professionals by 2-1.
Liberty Professionals started the game the brighter of the two sides and their persistence paid off in the 11th minute as Michael Laryea out them in front.
Ten minute later the home side pulled parity through Seidu Abubakar to even the contest before a late strike from Enock Afram gave the Dwarfs all three points.
Ebusua Dwarfs are now 11th on the league log while the Scientific Soccer Lads are in the relegation zone 17th on the table.
