Forrmer Ghana U-20 star Ebenezer Assifuah opened his account for his team Pau FC  as they came from behind to beat Niort 4-1 at home on Saturday in the French Ligue 2.

It was the away side who opened the floodgates with a goal from Brahima Doukansy in the 13th minute of the game but the Ghanaian striker responded with his first competitive goal for his new club in the 38th minute.

Assifuah joined the club in the summer as a free agent on a two year deal after leaving  fellow lower tier side Le Havre.

The home side then turned on the screw as Chiekh Sabaly grabbed a brace in the 45th and 80th minute to take the game beyond the away side.

Substitute Romain Armand put the cherry in the cake as he added a goal late in the game to give Pau FC A 4-1 win.
