Ghanaian striker Ebenezer Assifuah was on target for his French Ligue 2 side Pau FC on Saturday.

The lower tier French side defeated Dijon by 2-0.

It took some time before the match could catch fire as the home side were kept at bay till the second half.

Both teams could not break the deadlock as the first half ended 0-0.

Right after the break Ebenezer Assifuah broke the deadlock in the 45th minute to give his side the lead.

The home side upped the ante and got the insurance goal late in the game as Essende made sure of the result in the 82 nd minute.

The goal is the third in five matches did Ebenezer Assifuah this season in the French Ligue 2 as it seems the 28 year old has now rediscovered his impressive goal scoring from during his early days.
