ECG resolves technical issue affecting electricity credit purchases

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has confirmed that the technical problem affecting the purchase of electricity credits for MMS-compliant meters has been fully resolved.

In a public notice issued on Monday, December 29, ECG stated that the disruption, which had affected credit purchases through the ECG Mobile App, the *226# short code, and authorized third-party vendors, has now been corrected.

The company reassured customers that all platforms are fully operational, and electricity credits can now be purchased seamlessly without any interruptions.
