Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi is not part of the Samsunspor squad that traveled to play Altay on Sunday as he is out injured.

He has not trained with his teammates for most part of the week due to a minor injury he is carrying .

The 29-year-old forward has been impressive after joining the club from Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia this summer.

He is currently home working with the Physios to regain his fitness.

Samsunspor Club made the following statement about Gyasi's injury:

"First degree muscle damage was detected in the left upper anterior muscle of our player, Edwin Gyasi, who was injured during the week's training. The treatment of our player continues in the company of our physiotherapists."
