The New Patriotic Party(NPP) Ablekuma Central Parliamentary candidate, Jefferson Sackey, has passionately appealed to constituents on his knees to vote massively for the party in the December 7 election.
According to him, the track record of the constituency shows that Ablekuma Central witnesses massive development when the NPP is in power.
Though the seat is currently being held by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Sackey has appealed for the NPP to be brought back.
Citing the contributions and projects initiated by his predecessors, he emphasised it is important for unfinished projects to be completed to pave way for new ones.
“You are aware of the developments we bring about whenever the NPP is in power. From the time of CS Crabbe to the time of Victor Okuley Nortey to the time of my own brother Ebenezer Nii Narh Nartey, our roads and gutters have been improved,” Jefferson Sackey said while kneeling to plead to the gathering for their nod,” he stated.
The candidate made these remarks on a campaign tour in the constituency with the NPP running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh.
Napo as he is popularly known was accompanied by Assin Central MP; Kennedy Agyapong, former Ablekuma Central MP; Ebenezer Nartey among others.
This moment from the tour was captured in a video shared on X by Accra-based Channel One TV.
