The Parliamentary Candidate for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, Frank Asiedu Bekoe who is well-known in the political cycle as Protozoa says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is leaving no stone unturned ahead of the 2024 general elections in their quest for re-election.

According to him, they will work tirelessly to ensure that the NPP retains the seat and continues its good works as every good thing about the country has been their hallmark.

He believes that achieving such a feat requires doing extra work through massive campaigns, therefore, they would be extending it to the various offices of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to ensure an evidence-based campaign coupled with track records to win votes from supporters of the NDC.

Frank Bekoe argued that despite the NDC’s propaganda and desperation for power, they [NDC] yearned for the NPP to always be in power over any other political party.

“When the NPP Government started the Free Senior High School education policy it was the NDC people who benefited most from this initiative because it saved them a lot of money for different projects which could have been used to pay their ward’s school fees,” he added.

Frank Asiedu Asiedu made this assertion during the launch of the NPP’s campaign team in the Suhum Constituency. The constituted team is expected to oversee the campaign activities in the area while championing the ideas and policies of the party to residents for votes in the next general elections.

The Suhum NPP Constituency Chairman, Fredrick Ofosu on his part calls for unity amongst the party members, urging they forgo their differences and form a unifying front to help the party achieve its mission of retaining power.

According to him, the battle ahead of the party is breaking the eight-year term and nothing else, hence, the only magic for such a task is teamwork to ensure it becomes feasible and possible.

Furtherance, a former NPP Communication Director for Eastern Region, David Prah who graced the launching ceremony commended President Akufo Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the unprecedented achievement under the NPP’s led administration.

Just to mention a few, he indicated that the Free SHS policy, as one of the outstanding initiatives by the President has made it possible for every Ghanaian child to have access to quality education.

David Prah continues adding that the NDC’s flagbearer John Mahama cannot compare himself to the President and his Vice during his term as President until the NPP took over in 2016.

In his conclusion statement, he cautioned Ghanaians against voting for the NDC come the 7 December 2024 exercise as John Mahama is not an option to lead the country in 2025 because he had nothing new to offer.
