Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Edward Omane Boamah, is confident they will swiftly collate their results on December 7.
According to him, the NDC will, by 11 p.m., have at least collated 75% of the total votes nationwide.
Addressing NDC supporters at Otoase in the Ayensuano Constituency of the Eastern Region, Dr. Boamah emphasized the NDC’s readiness to be vigilant to ensure a transparent process.
He, therefore, urged the electorate to have confidence in the NDC to safeguard their ballots without compromise.
“Go there peacefully to protect your votes, be courageous, and work with the security agencies. We have insisted that anyone deployed as security personnel in this election must wear a name tag.”
“Work with them to ensure a peaceful election. Be assured that the Election Directorate has the support of our Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and our National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and that the NDC will complete the collation of 75% of results by 11 p.m.,” he said.
