Beleaguered Aduana Stars center back Farouk Adams has started training with the rest of his teammates for the first time in two months since allegedly killing a young police officer with a car he was driving.

The Center back is alleged to have hit and killed a police officer with a car he was driving at Dormaa Ahenkro-Wamfie before bolting leaving the officer to die in March.

The deceased Police officer Amos Maatey Niganoko has since been buried in his hometown of Tamale.

Adams had been on remand ever since but was granted bail by a Sunyani High court in the sum of GHC60,000 with four sureties one to be justified on 14th March,2021.

He last made an appearance in court on April 7th with the case adjourned to May 5th as the prosecutor Emmanuel Sampson failed to make an appearance in court.

“It was good news on Friday morning as Farouk Adams returned to training for the first time in many weeks,” Aduana Stars Communication director Evans Oppong said.

“For the first time after his unfortunate accident, he trained with the first team and was well composed throughout the session.

“We are working on how we can quickly integrate him with his teammates. He looked relaxed, psychologically prepared and we hope he recovers fully as soon as possible to help achieve our targets for the season."
