However, despite his contributions, Barrow fell short, succumbing to a 5-3 defeat against Salford City in a gripping English League Two encounter.

The match unfolded as a spectacle of goals, with both teams relentlessly exchanging attacks. Salford City drew first blood as Callum Hendry unleashed a formidable strike from outside the box, finding the net in the 26th minute.

Yet, Barrow quickly retaliated just before halftime, with Cole Stockton clinically finishing off an opportunity, courtesy of an assist from Emile Acquah, to level the scoreline.

Barrow surged ahead early in the second half, with Tyrell Warren heading home from a corner to give them the lead.

However, Salford City swiftly responded, with Conor McAleny displaying precision in his effort to equalize in the 57th minute.

Despite Barrow's tenacity, Salford City regained control with two rapid goals from Callum Hendry and Matt Smith in the 67th and 77th minutes, respectively.

Smith then extended Salford's advantage with another goal in the 86th minute.
