Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has signed a new improved long term deal with his club that will see him stay at the Kumasi based club for the foreseeable future.

There was a lot of talk about the contract situation about the defender who was on the verge of leaving the club on a free transfer.

He has signed a new five year deal which will ensure that he stay at the club until at least 2025.

The 24 year old center back joined Asante Kotoko from division one league side Phar Rangers in the 2018/2019 league season and has been quite impressive for the porcupine warriors.

His contract renewal will come as a big relief for most Kotoko fans as there was the possibility of losing their prized asset.

He made 12 appearances in 14 league games for the porcupine warriors in the 2019/2020 league season which was cancelled.
