Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Mensah has extended his impressive goal-scoring form for CSM Sighetu in Romania, finding the net for the eighth time in 10 appearances to contribute to his team's 2-1 victory over CSM Satu.

The former Young Apostles player showcased his goal-scoring prowess by equalizing for CSM Sighetu in the 35th minute, converting a penalty earned after his pass led to a foul against his teammate in the 18-yard box.

This response nullified Moussa Samake's earlier header for CSM Satu, who had taken the lead in the 10th minute from a corner.

Emboldened by Mensah's goal, CSM Sighetu pushed forward in the second half, ultimately taking the lead three minutes after the introduction of Catalin Sofroni in the 67th minute.

The home side successfully held on to their advantage until the final whistle, securing a hard-fought 2-1 win.

Emmanuel Mensah's remarkable tally of eight goals in ten appearances reflects his prolific form since joining CSM Sighetu from Ghana.

His compatriot, Abdul Razak, also contributed to the victory by playing the full 90 minutes for CSM Sighetu Mare.

The latest triumph propels CSM Sighetu to fourth place in the league table, amassing 21 points from 14 matches.

The team now stands firmly in contention for a promotion spot, with Mensah's goal-scoring prowess playing a crucial role in their campaign.
