After months and weeks of speculation, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have finally grabbed their man as they have appointed Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi as the club's new head of Administration and operations.

Before his appointment he was the Club Licensing Manager of the Ghana Football Association but resigned early on Monday morning before the porcupine warriors announced his appointment.

The industrious administrator is ending his ten year association with the GFA where he has worked in several capacities and rising to deputy general secretary among others.

He was the Administrator at the Football Association’s Technical Centre at Prampram, then to the Premier League Board and also worked as Secretary to the Disciplinary Committee and Appeals Committee of the GFA.

The 38 year old Football Administrator studied Sports and Event Management at the University of Witwatersrand and holds an MBA from the International Business Management Institute.

He has also undertaken various courses both locally and internationally, especially with FIFA and CAF. He has been serving as a CAF Instructor for over three years now and has undertaken other assignments with CAF as an Inspector. Background

He has been involved in Football for the last 10 years and rose to become GFA Deputy General Secretary in-charge of Administration.

He was one time Team Manager of the Black Starlets (Frimpong Manso's tenure)

Dasoberi has been Secretary to the GFA Disciplinary Committee and Appeals Committee. He has been engaged in drafting the rules of the GFA.

He studied Law at the prestigious University of London and proceeded with an LL.M.

Also, he pursued an MBA at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology).

Just recently, he was chosen amongst the few inspectors in Africa to conduct inspection of stadia for the FIFA World Cup, Qatar 2022.

He was the first African to attend the FIFA Exchange programme and has conducted seminars and inspections in Africa.
