Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Sarkodie wants out of his loan spell at King Faisal due to the apparent lack of playing at the club.

The defensive midfielder was loaned out to King Faisal after becoming surplus to requirements at Asante Kotoko.

Sarkodie who joined Kotoko from Nkoranza Warriors was a bit part player at Kotoko last season and struggled to impress at the porcupine warriors so was sent out on loan to King Faisal.

The defensive midfielder has made just 4 appearances in 15 matches for King Faisal and is ready to terminate his loan deal due to lack of playing time.

“When King Faisal wrote to Kotoko for my services, I made it known to them that I am joining them because of playing time. They agreed to my request but I waited till match day 5 without any sign of playing me,I approached them and was asked to exercise patience. The excuse has been the same and I think as a young player I need to go elsewhere and find playing time." he told Fox FM.

"My attitude to training has been the best,I always arrive at the training ground an hour or half before the others report. The coaches and everyone can testify to my seriousness during training.

I suspect there is a secondary reason why they are not giving me the playing time.I will not boast but I have the belief in myself that I can play to the satisfaction of everyone, it is a God giving talent and everyone knows my worth.

I would have proved to them if they had given me the opportunity but the coach did not want to play me” he added.
