Berekum Chelsea forward Emmanuel Sarpong is optimistic about his team's chances as they prepare to face Legon Cities in their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter.
The match, scheduled for Sunday, will take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium as part of matchday 7 of the domestic league.
Speaking to Wontumi FM, Sarpong expressed confidence in the Bibires' readiness for the challenge.
He noted that their preparation for the match against Legon Cities is consistent with their approach to previous games, emphasizing the team's unbeaten run this season.
"Our preparation for the Legon Cities clash is not different from other games. This year has been amazing for us.
We are unbeaten since the commencement of the season. I can say that we are physically and mentally tough to deliver on Sunday against Legon Cities," Sarpong stated.
Berekum Chelsea currently sits 5th on the league table, having secured two wins and four draws from six matches.
Despite Sarpong's goal drought this season, the 26-year-old attacker has been a crucial part of the team’s unbeaten run.
Chelsea will aim to continue their strong form and secure another positive result as they face Legon Cities this weekend.
