A 21-year old young man, Isaac Akpatsu, has been shot for firing a knockout in front of a popular drinking bar at Domeabra, a community near Enchi, in the Western Region of Ghana.

Accra News’ Osei Tutu Buju, who reported the incident on Friday December 23, said on Thursday December 22 at about 8:30pm, Akpatsu, in the company of his friends, was setting off the knockout but was asked by the owner of the spot, Moses Tetteh, 35, to stop because it was scaring his customers away.

But Akpatsu disregarded the call and fired the knockouts, prompting the livid spot owner to pick up his gun and fire at him.

Osei Tutu further reported that Apkatsu was seriously injured following the gunshot and was rushed to the Samreboi Hospital where he received some form of treatment. Due to the severity of the injury, he has been transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

Meanwhile, Moses Tetteh has been picked up by the Police for questioning following the incident.
