English born Ghanaian winger, Benicio Baker-Boaitey has signed for Portuguese giants FC Porto despite overtures from German side Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 16 year old joined the Portuguese side on a long term deal after leaving West Ham United as a free agent but the Portuguese side will have to pay a nominal fee to the English side as training and development fee since the player is under 18 years.

Porto are believed to have paid £200,000 to the English side as training and development fee for the talented teenager.

The youngster paid a visit to the training complex of both Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach but ultimately chose the Portuguese giants as his next club that can aid his development into a super star.

He is eligible to play for Ghana the country of his parents although he has played for the England U-16 side.
