The Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) is on the heels of some former Chief Executive Officers of some state-owned institutions for misappropriation of funds.

Fformer CEOs of Ghana Free Zones Board (GFZB), and the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC); Kojo Twum Boafo and Sedinam Tamakloe are to account for monies embezzled under their watch.

Also, Mr Kwame Kingsley Awuah-Darko, a former Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) was cited by the report for same.

The forensic audit commissioned by Cabinet revealed certain anomalies during the tenure of the above mentioned.

The report stated that, Mr Twum Boafo is expected to account for an amount of GHS3,919,622.00, equivalent to $1,622,821; while Ms Tamakloe is expected to account for GHS3,193,592.00.

And lastly, Mr Kwame Kingsley Awuah-Darko is expected to account for GHS109, 498, 565.00 equivalent to $33, 305, 527.00.

Details of the audit have been forwarded to EOCO to act on them.
