Swansea City and Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew is interesting a host of English Premier League sides ahead of the domestic transfer deadline.

Brighton and WBA are both interested in securing the signature of the 30 year old forward who has been an ever present for Swansea so far this season in the Championship.

Clubs in the Premier League and Championship can do business until Friday despite the normal transfer window closing last Monday.

Andre Ayew is no stranger to the English Premier League having played for Swansea when they where in the league and also playing for West Ham in the past.

Swansea boss Steve Cooper faces an anxious wait to see whether his star man will stay put at the Welsh club or will seek a move away.

"I look forward to working with Andre and hopefully he can play a part," Cooper said.

"I can have an understanding of that, but (will) focus on going forward," said Cooper.

"For me, the first part of the process with Andre was to have a conversation this week which went very well and I'm looking forward to him joining the training group on Sunday. Like everyone else, we work from there."

"He's had to do his testing and get himself up to speed," Cooper added.

"We need to make sure the performance staff are aware of where he's at physically and mentally as well."
