In a New Patriotic Party election earlier today at the Polling station, an unknown assailants shot into the electorates and causing injuries to a number of people at the Asene-Manso Constituency in the Eastern region .
According to Mr. Kwaku Owusu Adjei, an eyewitness of the shooting, which was done by the use of pump-action guns has left a number of people on admission at the Akim-Oda hospital receiving treatment.
He described the scene as an eyesore and further stated that the people had to run to safety.
He further said that, the incident was also witnessed by the e Member of Parliament (MP) for Asene-Manso, Kwame Aboagye as well as the Constituency Chairman.
