Accra Lions' exciting winger, Evans Botchway, has completed a move to Swedish top-flight outfit IF Brommapojkarna, marking a significant step in his burgeoning career.

The 18-year-old Ghanaian talent has signed a permanent deal with Brommapojkarna following his impressive performances for Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League.

Botchway emerged as a dynamic force for Lions since joining the first team in 2023, amassing 19 appearances and netting two goals in the top tier of Ghanaian football.

Known for his electrifying pace and dazzling dribbling skills, Botchway terrorized opposition defenses with his attacking prowess, establishing himself as one of the league's standout wingers.

Philip Berglund, the Sports Manager of IF Brommapojkarna, hailed Botchway's qualities, emphasizing his speed and other offensive attributes that will bolster the team's attack.

"What stands out is of course his speed, everyone can see it, but he has several fine offensive qualities that we will benefit from in the long term," Berglund commented, expressing optimism about Botchway's potential impact.

Botchway's transition to European football will provide him with the opportunity to adapt and thrive in a new environment, further honing his skills and enhancing his development.

Although Botchway represented Ghana's U20 team and showcased his scoring prowess with two goals, his participation in the African Games was curtailed due to his move to Brommapojkarna.

In the current season, Botchway made three appearances for Accra Lions before embarking on his European adventure, eager to make a mark on the Swedish football scene with IF Brommapojkarna.
