Former Accra Lions prodigy Evans Botchway made a significant impact for IF Brommapojkarna with a brace in their dominant 5-0 win over IFK Östersund in a Swedish Cup clash this evening.

The match, held at the Jämtkraft Arena, saw Syrian international Daleho Irandust open the scoring for Brommapojkarna in the 12th minute. Botchway then doubled the lead just before halftime, showcasing his finishing prowess.

Shortly after the break, the 18-year-old Ghanaian forward struck again, securing his second goal of the match with a well-placed shot.

Icelandic defender Hlynur Freyr Karlsson added to the tally in the 62nd minute, and midfielder Ludvig Fritzson wrapped up the scoring just before the final whistle.

Since his move to Sweden in April, Botchway, who previously played for Kowa Naso and Accra Lions, has now scored four goals across all competitions.

His performance today highlights his growing influence and potential on the European stage.
