A member of the Ghana Football Association's Adhoc compensation's committee, Mr Frederick Moore has hit out at critics who say the monies that has been handed out to members of the Executive Council is too much.

He says everyone who works is paid and we should look out for value instead of looking at only the coast component.

The three member Adhoc compensation committee was tasked to come up with appropriate payments and emoluments for the the Executive Committee.

They have approved that the GFA President should be paid a monthly allowance of GHC12,000 while the Vice President will also take home GHC7,000 while members of the Executive Council will also be paid GHC 4,000 as monthly allowance.

This has generated a lot of uproar among many football enthusiast with many questioning why so much is being paid to the top hierarchy.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi FM, he says the three member committee did a lot of extensive working before coming out with the various figures.

"Everybody who works get paid irrespective of the mode through which he/she was employed."

"When you travel in most organizations, you get an allowance because there’s some form of an inconvenience, the country that you go to might be more expensive that where you coming from hence the need for money to cater for accommodation and feeding. It is the standard practice that happens across all sectors of employment."

"This is the first time that the EXCO compensation has been made public so there’s a huge amount of transparency on the status that was created" he added.
