Revered Ghanaian journalist and former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara will be the CAF Media Officer for the finals of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The finals will take place this evening at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo-  Nigeria with South African side Orlando Pirates taking on Moroccan side RS Berkane.

The South African side defeated Al Ahli Tripoli in the semi finals whiles RS Berkane also made light work of TP Mazembe to reach the finals.

With his vast knowledge in the media circles having worked for the renowned BBC  and also served for several years  as GFA Communications Director, Sannie Daara will oversee media duties for the big clash.

Since leaving his role as the GFA Communications Director, Saanie Daara has worked for CAF at various major tournaments in various capacities.

He will not be the only Ghanaian interest as Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori and Kwame Peprah will all be playing for their South African side Orlando Pirates.
