There has been a lot of clamour for the inclusion of talented Black Satellites midfielder Abdul Fatawu Isahaku in the Black Stars and coach Ibrahim Tanko has joined the fray.

He has been in great form for the national U-20 team helping them to lift the African U-20 youth cup tournament in Mauritania.

Abdul Fatawu was included in the Black Stars B squad that faced Asian side Uzbekistan and scored Ghana's only goal in a 2-1 loss.

Coach of the Black Stars B, Ibrahim Tanko has urged the Black Stars coach,C.K Akonnor to include the exceptional Abdul Fatawu Ishahaku in his team.

“Fatawu has the quality and he has to join the Black Stars”, Ibrahim Tanko said in an interview with Happy FM.

“We have to nurture him because the talent is huge. I have known him since his days at Shooting Stars before I came to meet him again at the national U17 team and U-23 team.

“They played a game at Mc Dan Park and I was discussing with the technical director how well they can play him and Coach Karim Zito went to play him very wisely at the tournament”

“All I pray for him is to stay fit because to be great you have to be fit and if he is fit he will go very far”, he added.

He was in sublime form over the weekend in the National Division One League for his side Steadfast when they thrashed Wa Suntaa by 4-0.

Abdul Fatawu has scored six goals in the current season.
