Swedish second-tier side IK Frej have rejected the opportunity to sign Ghanaian midfielder Lawson Sabah upon completion of training trials with the club.

The Ghanaian international is having a torrid time finding a team with his parent-club, IFK Göteborg keen on shipping him out.

This latest blow comes barely two weeks after Danish second-tier side HB Köge also turned him down after he was deemed 'not ready' by the club's technical team.

Sabah was loaned out last season by Göteborg to Varbergs BoIS in the second half of the Allsvenskan championship.

The 20 year old joined Swedish top-flight side from Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies in 2015.
