Faith Ladies continued their pursuit of the title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Northern Ladies in their second match of the ongoing Women's League Super Cup in Kyebi.

The defending champions can thank Emmanuella Johnson for their lone goal, as she struck from close range to secure the win.

Despite Northern Ladies controlling the game, they failed to convert their chances, and the first half ended without any goals. Both teams came out in the second half eager to outdo each other, but it was Faith Ladies who took the lead in the 69th minute. Johnson capitalized on a goalmouth scramble, poking the ball over the line after Northern Ladies couldn't clear Matilda Damoah's corner kick.

Although Northern Ladies had some late opportunities, Faith Ladies' defense held strong, securing the 1-0 victory for the defending champions.

With an unbeaten record, Faith Ladies currently top Group A with six points after an impressive start to the tournament.
