A 27 year old Farmer,Tetteh Nicholas has been jailed seven(7) years by a Koforidua Circuit Court  for aiding and abetment   in a defilement case .

Nicholas Tetteh, firmly held the legs and hands of a 9 year Class two pupil for a 14 year old school drop out to defile her at Sukuma,a farming community in the Begoro district of the Eastern region.

The two pleaded guilty to their offences .

The fact of the case as presented by Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Solomon Keelson, indicated that, on December 5, 2016 at about 9:00pm while the convict Tetteh Nicholas (27) and a 14 year old accused were playing in the Village ,the victim joined them.

However, in the course of playing, the convict lured the victim into a dark place and firmly held her for the 14 year old accused to have sexual intercourse with her.Mother of the victim upon hearing the ordeal of her daughter ,reported the case to the police which subsequently led to the arrest of the suspects.

Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Keelson further said ,a medical report was issued for examination which the medical report was duely endorsed the act hence the two suspects were charged and dragged before court .

The Convict pleaded guilty to the offence hence sentenced 7 years.

Meanwhile, the Presiding Circuit Court Judge has also convicted and committed the 14 year old accused to Juvenile court for his sentence.

The mother of the victim after the sentence told Kasapa News Eastern regional correspondent, Kojo Ansah, she has relocated from the village due to constant death threats on their lives by the family of the suspects.

The Victim was seen very ill .She vomited several times after court proceedings on Friday. She is reported not to have been well since the ordeal.
