Israeli Premier League club FC Ashdod has officially signed 19-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyei from Dreams FC during the current transfer window.

Agyei has inked a five-year contract with Ashdod following successful negotiations and the completion of mandatory medical examinations.

The club made the announcement on their official Facebook page, stating:

"We hereby confirm the transfer of Emmanuel Agyei to Ashdod FC. The midfielder signed a contract on Thursday to complete the move to the Israeli side having passed a medical.

Dreams FC thanks Emmanuel Agyei for his years of dedicated service and wishes him the best."

Agyei, known for his talent and strength on the pitch, has been a key player for Dreams FC, making 73 top-flight appearances for the club.

As he embarks on this new challenge with Ashdod, he aims to bring the same energy and commitment that defined his tenure with the "Still Believe" lads.

As a central figure for the Ghana U-20 national team, the Black Satellites, Agyei is expected to add stability to Ashdod's midfield as they strive for an improved performance in the upcoming season.

Emmanuel Agyei is anticipated to make his debut for FC Ashdod in their match against Beitar Jerusalem on Sunday, August 25.
