Ghana have been forced to hand late call ups to three players who ply their  trade with Danish  side FC Nordsjaelland.

The trio  are young center back Maxwell Woledzi, Francis Abu and goalkeeper Emmanuel Ogura ahead of the Kirin Cup which starts on Friday.

Ghana has  been hit with a lot of withdrawals from a lot of players with some due to injury concerns and others personal issues which needs  sorting  out.

Coach Otto Addo handed call ups  to  an initial list of 33 players for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and also for the Kirin Cup in Japan but presently there are only 18 players in camp for the tournament which starts on Friday.

The three players who all joined from feeder club Right to Dream Academy have been drafted into the Black Stars for the Kirin Cup.

But  it  still  remains  to be seen  whether the  players  will  get visas in  time  for the  tournament  which start tomorrow with host nation Japan playing Ghana.
