I asked, what is the blueprint for Kotoko ? The question all die hard "Porcupine Warriors" fans over the years are yearning for.

Why ? Because the club of the century is retrogressing in a worst state, "A child who ask questions does not become a fool"..

Arguably Ghana's most successful club is Kumasi Asante Kotoko, they have won two African champions league, been runner-up 5 times, also leading the Ghana league with 23 titles, numerous FA cup and International Federation of Football History and Statistics [IFFHS] crowned Kotoko as Africa's club of the past 100 years (century).

The sad reality truth is that the youthful exuberance supporters between the ages of 18 - 38 years have never witnessed a glimpse of Africa Glory. Kotoko lost the final of cup winners cup in 2002 and again falling to bitter country rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the maiden edition of the CAF confederation cup at the then Kumasi sports stadium now Baba Yara sports stadium.

Ten years have past but over that decade Kotoko with it rich background have not seen any improvement.

"Wokum apem aa, apem beba is the slogan and Red is the colour".

Under leadership and administrative guidance, the porcupines have not seen a long term leader to execute a 5 years successive plan for the club before the fans-driven takeovers and the pull him down insiders start plotting the sack race.

Leaders appointed to lead the great club end up spending the rest of their life's anguishing about whether they made the right decision in accepting the great Honour "His Royal Majesty the Asantehene" offered them.

Nevertheless, to access why Kotoko has declined and not attractive any more,it is easy to think all is not well with Asante Kotoko, and certainly looks like nothin has been learnt from the past decade.

Some blame the situation for the appointment of incompetent leaders, more fuel to the fire comes on the back of the current Kotoko board and management.

We never know whether the current administration will be maintained or not and what direction is Kotoko aiming ? Although some may disagree, only "Manhyia" can decide.

Further more, is not an open secret, Backbiting is killing Kotoko, looking at the issues that confronted the club last season,we can't wait for heaven to tell us what happened between the Board of Directors, management, supporters leadership, technical team and even the playing body leveling serious allegations in camp. There was nothing to stop them...

"The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the right and greatest things."

Is time to end the pains, suffering, heart breaks and the infighting,a lot of blames can be assigned but is the club ready for progress ?

Kotoko needs to revolutionize the whole structures and re build it as a strong institution. "Old habits clearly die hard"... Kotoko needs a change to the right direction.

Fabulous !!! The Best.
