Ghanaian international Felix Afena-Gyan has commenced preseason training with Italian Serie B club Cremonese as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.

The former Roma striker experienced a challenging season last term, struggling to secure a regular starting role at Cremonese.

He made just eight appearances, scoring one goal in the recently concluded season.

Now, the 21-year-old attacker is determined to overcome the setbacks of last season and make a significant impact for Cremonese in the upcoming 2024/25 football season.

Afena-Gyan has joined his teammates in preseason preparations as they intensify their training sessions.

Afena-Gyan moved to Cremonese in August 2022 with hopes of gaining more playing time and developing his career. Despite arriving with high expectations, he has faced difficulties in establishing himself consistently.

The Ghanaian forward first caught attention when he came off the bench to score a brace for Roma against Genoa in Serie A two seasons ago.

He has also made seven appearances for the Black Stars since his debut in 2022, scoring one goal during this period.
