Kenyans have gone berserk on social media about the rate of graduate unemployment in the East African country.

Many have blamed their plight in finding jobs after school on government and its policies but what has ignited this fury is the story of Kelvin Ochieng.

A private Tv station, Citizen Tv spoke to first class graduate in actuarial science, who is now living in a slum area of the capital, Nairobi, after someone took pity on him.

According to him, coming from a poor background he thought education would have saved him from the clutches of poverty and be able to cater for his poor old grand mom but it has only become a pipe dream.

He said he has applied for some many jobs but none has been successful and now survives as a parking guard in Nairobi city centre.
