Levante forward Emmanuel Boateng has made a quick recovery from injury and would be ready for the team’s third game against rivals Valencia on Sunday.

The Ghana international missed the first two La Liga games against Real Betis and Celta Vigo.

The 21 year old picked up the injury during Levante’s pre-season friendly against Bournemouth in July.

He was given a recovery period of between four to six weeks, but is set for an earlier return.

“I am now back to full time training, feeling very sharp and ready for the season,” Boateng assured.

“I am ready to play my part for Levante on Sunday and I look forward to it. It is always not easy to pick up an injury ahead of a major season, but I have recuperated very well and I know I would have a good season” He concluded.
