The football community rallied behind Ignatius Baffuor Awuah (Hon.), the bankroller and owner of Premier League outfit Nsoatreman FC, as he observed the one-week commemoration of his late mother at Fumesua, near Kumasi.

The late Oheneyere Nana Kyerewaa Amponsah II served as the Queen mother of Okyerekrom, a prominent town in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti region.

Representatives from various sectors of the football fraternity showed their solidarity, with Executive Council members Samuel Aboabire and Eugene Nobel Noel, alongside Jiiji Mohammed Alifoe, President of Premier League side and CAF Confederation Cup contenders Dreams FC, in attendance.

They were present to offer their condolences and support to Ignatius Baffuor Awuah during this somber period.
