Manchester City owned Thomas Agyepong has for the umpteenth time been farmed out on loan to Belgium second tier side Lommel SK.

The talented Ghanaian winger completed his move to the Belgium side on transfer deadline day after passing his mandatory medical examination.

Agyepong, 23, has joined the green and whites on a season long loan deal from sister club Manchester City.

Lower tier Belgium club Lommel SK is part of the City football group owned by the owner of Manchester City Sheikh Mansour Al Nayan with over 11 football clubs scattered across the world.

The group is owned by three organisations; of which 78% is majority owned by the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), 12% by the American firm Silver Lake and Chinese firms China Media Capital and CITIC Capital

Agyepong was last season sent on loan to Belgian Pro League side Waasland-Beveren  before the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the Belgium league.

The Ghanaian made 15 appearances for  Waasland- Beveren while on loan at the club.

He joined Manchester City from the Right to Dream Academy in 2015 and has been on loan at FC Twente, NAC Breda and Hibernian FC.

The Ghanaian winger's career has been thwarted by niggling injuries as he has suffered nine threatening injuries in the last five years.

He has been capped six times by the Black Stars of Ghana.
