Forgotten Asante Kotoko striker Andrews Kumi made the match day squad for the team for the first time in ten months.

Kumi was named among the substitutes in their historic 2-0 win over Medeama at the Akoon Park on Sunday.

The striker recently debunked reports that  he is unhappy and seeking for  a way out of the team.

He started his Asante Kotoko career very well but injuries and loss of form curtailed his involvement  with the  team.

Andy Kumi had not  played  a single  minute the whole season before last Sunday's involvement largely due to injury concerns and also being down the pecking order.

Reports linked the player with a move out of the club but he has shot it down claiming that he is not heading out of the team.

The porcupine warriors will face Ashgold on Thursday in their postponed match day 29 game as they hope to wrap up the league title.
