Indian Super League side NorthEast United have announced the signing of English-born Ghanaian striker Kwesi Appiah.

The 30-year-old last played for AFC Wimbledon in the English Championship and scored four times for them in the previous season.

NorthEast United have announced that striker Kwesi Appiah has joined the club ahead of Season 7 of the ISL. Kwesi makes the move having last played for AFC Wimbledon in the English Championship where he scored four times last season.

A product of the Ebsfleet United PASE Youth System, Kwesi Appiah has played for several clubs in England notably Crystal Palace FC, Reading, Cambridge United, AFC Wimbledon amongst others.

He also featured for the Ghanaian national team with two goals in seven outings for the Black Stars.
