Former Asante Kotoko Coach Abdul Karim Zito has called on the club's executive board chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei to fire current coach Kjetil Zachariasen.

According to the veteran trainer, Zachariasen is the worst coach he has ever seen at the helm of the Kumasi based club.

The Norwegian coach joined kotoko from regional rivals Ashanti Gold SC amidst high hopes from the club's teaming supporters.

But after failing to reach the group stages of CAF champions league and subsequently getting kicked out of the Confederation cup in the hands of Ivorian club San Pedro, Zachariasen's future with the Porcupine Warriors has become the subject of media speculations.

With the Zachariasen  currently away from the team following a directive by the club's management to stay home temporarily, former Asnate kotoko Player and coach, Abdul Karim Zito has called on the club to show him the exit.

"Kjetil Zachariassen is the worst coach Kotoko has hired during my playing days and present day", Zito said in an interview with Angel FM.

"Dr Kwame Kyei should do the honourable thing by sacking this coach", he added

Media reports say Kotoko have asked Zachariasen to tender in his resignation but the Norwegian coach has not heeded to the calls.
