Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu has donated some items to the Osu Children's home.

The combative midfielder has shown that he is only rugged on the pitch but has a softer side full of compassion to the less privilege.

Afutu was integral last season as he helped the phobians win the Ghana Premier League title and MTN FA Cup double.

He donated items such as soft drinks, scahete water, soap, detergents, washing powder, toilet role among others to the orphanage.

It did not only end there as the player who played in his formative years for Perseverance FC at Mamprobi also made a stop over with a presentation.

He donated some football implements to his former colts club to help them.

Benjamin Afutu is currently a free agent after leaving Accra Hearts of Oak following the expiration of his contract and failure to extend it.
