Ghana Premier League club Inter Allies FC have announced an agreement with Norwegian top-flight side IK Start over the transfer of Nigerian midfielder Afeez Aremu Olalekan.

Afeez signed a three year deal with the Norwegian side after agreeing personal terms and completing a medical.

‪ Sporting Director of the club Tor-Kristian Karlsen, is delighted to have secured the services of the highly rated talent from Nigeria.‬

‪”We (IK Start) are delighted that Afeez Aremu is finally ready for Start. The player was first noted by Mick Priest during the WAFU championship this fall and since then he has also been involved in the A national team to Nigeria in the World Cup qualifier.”‬

‪“We hope this young man can be a solid boost in the midfield. Afeez is very ‘European’ in the game style.”‬

‪“As an essentially defensive midfielder, he makes things easy, looks at solutions early and rarely stresses the ball. In addition, he works hard and is a loyal team player.”‬

‪Aremu also shared his joy after signing his contract and is eager to start work with the club

‪- It’s a dream to get to Start. I have never been to Europe before. Now I look forward to getting started, “
