The technical department of Accra Hearts of Oak has received a boost as ex-Newcastle United FC defender Titus Bramble joins on a special mission.

The Phobians confirmed on their official twitter page on Friday afternoon that the former English international will begin work at the Ghana Premier League side as a guest coach.

Bramble,37, will started work with the Rainbow family next week as the former African Champions makes efforts to build a formidable squad to restore their lost glory.

He and former Ipswich player, Simon Milton are in Ghana work with Future Stars.

According to the statement,Bramble,who also played for Ipswich Town, has been assigned to work on the defenders during his short stay in the West African country.

"Former Newcastle and England defender, Titus Bramble will be joining us as a guest coach next week to work with our defenders ⚽. Titus and former Ipswich player, @milts25, are in Ghana doing fantastic work with @futurestars15" the club tweeted.

Bramble left Ipswich Town in 2002 in a £6m move to Newcastle United

Bramble,Bramble, a former England Under-21 team member, played for several clubs in England including Sunderland, Ipswich Town, Colchester United and Wigan Athletic.

He began his career at his hometown club of Ipswich Town in 1998 before moving to Newcastle for £6m in 2002.

He played for Wigan Athletic 2007-10 before signing for Sunderland, who released him at the end of the 2012-13 season.
