The inaugural batch of the free License D Coaching Course began on Monday in Kumasi, marking a significant milestone for grassroots football development in the Ashanti Region.

This course, designed specifically for coaches from colts clubs, has attracted 30 enthusiastic participants eager to enhance their coaching skills.

Over the next two weeks, these coaches will undergo intensive training aimed at improving their tactical and technical knowledge, better equipping them to nurture young football talents.

This initiative underscores the commitment to elevating the standard of football coaching at the grassroots level, ensuring a stronger foundation for the sport's future stars.

Leading the course are renowned instructors Prince Acheampong (Sabuto) and Charles Anokye Frimpong, the head coach of the female U18 national team, with the support of Desmond Ofei, Head of Coach Education.

Their extensive experience and expertise are expected to provide invaluable insights and practical knowledge to the participants.

This initiative aims not only to improve coaching standards in the region but also to inspire a new generation of coaches who can significantly contribute to football development at the grassroots level.
