Ghana's Futsal National Team held their first training session at the Salle Couverte Ibn Kaldoun in Mohammedia, Morocco, to kick off their pre-tournament preparations for the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations.

The training, Ghana’s first since arriving in Morocco earlier on Thursday, saw all 14 players actively participating under the guidance of Coach Philip Boakye and his technical team.

The team in Morocco needs to acclimatise and continue with preparations for the tournament, which will begin from April 11–21, 2024, in the city of Rabat.

Ghana is in Group A and will come up against tournament hosts Morocco, Angola, and Zambia.

Coach Boakye’s side will open their campaign against Zambia before taking on Morocco, Zambia, and subsequent matches.

The top three teams from the competition will qualify for the 2024 Futsal World Cup to be staged in Uzbekistan.
