He is well known for his managerial exploits that has made Dreams FC one of a colourful brand of football in the country.He is credited with the return of the FA Cup after 11 years hiatus, for which he served at  different capacities to make it one of the proudest brand for Ghana Football.

Ahead of his vetting on Friday is a documentary about the GFA presidential aspirant Kurt Okraku, telling a compelling story about a man whose entire life has evolved around the beautiful game.

Th executive Chairman of Dreams  FC is one of  7 to be vetted for the October 25 contest, and testimonies from some football gurus about the "game changer" give him an all-round football image.

Former Director of Communication at the GFA, Ibrahim Saani Daara, Former Board Chairman of Accra  and Gbese Mankye Tommy Okine under whose tenure Hearts oak won the 2004 Caf Confederation Cup have all told a heartwarming story about the young man, who began his football adventure at 17.

The Game Changer, has all his life connected to all spheres football, making him the most decorated contestant in the presidential race.

He has rose through the ranks from a colt player to his current state as one of the finest football administrator of the current generation the country can boast of.

Having formed a colt team Shooting Stars FC  at 17, Kurt was the skipper and doubled as the coach of in Achimota.

He has stints with as Hearts Of Oak at the  youth level when he served Commodore Mensah's Champion's League committee during the Glorious days in the year 2000, and he later returned in 2007 to serve as a marketing manager.

According to Commodore Mensah Kurt together with former CEO of the club Neil Armstrong and Current sports minister Isaac Asiamah played a major role under him.

"He influenced us to go the flotation way because he wanted as to move from the traditional way running hearts of oak to more modern trend," Mr Mensah said.

"Very dynamic, and very trustful," added Nii Ayi Bonte, the former CEO of Accra Hearts Of Oak under whose tenure Kurt served as Marketing and Communication Director.

The seasoned sports administrator in his manifesto themed: "Igniting passion; Creating wealth for all," talks about how to grow the game  and engage the youth to restore integrity.

His inter-personal relationship has been hailed by many who believe he has what it takes convince sponsors to reinvest in Ghana football.

"I have known kurt from our days as sports journalist and surprisingly even though he is a Christian, he went to makaranta ,"revealed the Former Director of Communication at the GFA, Ibrahim Saani Daara.

" He could speak hausa you will think he was born among Hausa people," added the  dad George Offei Kraku said.

Kurt's years of experience dates back to his days as a student volunteer at campus-based radio universe in 1994.

His has been synonymous with football since infancy, going through the mill to reach the very apex of club football administration.

After completing the Ghana Institute of Journalism and University of Ghana, Kurt left for England for further studies having worked in the Ghanaian media for some time.

He enrolled at Manchester Trinity College to Study Hospitality Management before continuing at Emile Woolf College to get a certificate in CIM Marketing after which he enrolled at the prestigious University of Liverpool to study for a Masters Degree in Football Management.

Well equipped in all related fields, Kurt arrived in Ghana in 2007, he worked as the General Secretary of the Ghana League Club Association (GHALCA) before taking over as General Manager of Wassaman Football Club.

In 2009, Kurt formed his own club Dreams FC and the dream has been big as he has single-handedly transformed Ghana football.

He is largely credited with the revival of the FA Cup Competition which for over a decade had become dormant until he took the mantle to resuscitate it.
For those who do not know, Kurt trained as a journalist and schooled at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

He wrote for the Hearts News and also worked at Radio Universe on the University of Ghana campus in Accra.

He has natured a lot of talents, the biggest of which is Chelsea and Black Stars defender Baba Rahman.

Kurt served on the defunct Executive Committee and was also the Chairman of the local Black Stars.

He holds a Masters’ degree from the University of Liverpool where he specialise in football management.

"I dont  think we have problem selecting somebody like my son to lead Ghana football if Ghanaians will be one.He is good and I pray to almighty he will be given this chance, the country has no problem at all if he wins," George Offei Kraku said.
