In a move aimed at strengthening women's football in Ghana, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Charles Anokye Frimpong as the head coach of the new U18 female national team.

With extensive experience as a former Assistant Coach of the Black Queens and holding a prestigious CAF License A Coaching Certificate, Frimpong is well-equipped to lead the team.

Assisting Frimpong will be Gifty Ayew Asare, bringing valuable insights and coaching acumen as the Assistant Coach for Epiphany Ladies FC.

Asare holds a CAF License C coaching certificate and complements Frimpong's leadership effectively.

These appointments align with the GFA's Women’s Football Strategy, which aims to redefine and elevate women's football in Ghana.

The addition of new national teams, including the U16, U18, U21, and U23 squads, reflects the Association's commitment to nurturing talent across various age levels.
