The Communications Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr Adjei-Baah has announced that the meeting with officials of the Federation of International Football has been postponed indefinitely

A three-member delegation from FIFA were expected in Accra to hold showdown talks with the MOYS on Friday, June 22 as part of processes to reform, sanitize and re-organize football activities in the country.

The move comes after the government of Ghana announced plans to dissolve the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following a damning investigative documentary on corruption in African football by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

"The meeting has been postponed, for now, till further notice," Mr Adjei-Baah told Graphic Online in an interview.

"Well, we have craved the indulgence of FIFA to postpone that meeting so that it will afford us more time to satisfy our internal processes and consultations".
