Spokesperson for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum says that the Ghana Football Association has no qualms with the Sports Ministry as its being widely speculated.

Over the last few days, there has been reports of bickering between the GFA and the Sports Ministry about who becomes the next Black Stars coach after the sacking of Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac.

The GFA is said to prefer Borussia Dortmund's assistant coach Otto Addo as the new Black Stars coach whiles the government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports also prefer Chris Hughton.

According to Asante Twum, the GFA has no bad blood with the Sports Minister and will even have a meeting with him when GFA boss Kurt Okraku returns from his German trip.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Light FM, he said that it is falsehood for anyone to suggest they are at war with the Sports Minister.

"Its quite unfortunate to hear that the GFA is having issues with the Sports Minister Hon. Mustapha Ussif and as at now we as the GFA has not met him since AFCON exit and we are looking forward to meet him next week when GFA President Kurt Okraku returns from Germany on Monday and the Exco will meet to discuss issues after which we will meet him so for someone to say we have issues against him is not true" he added.
