The Ghana Football Association has this afternoon held a meeting with officials of the Referees Association of Ghana at the headquarters of the GFA.
Present at the meeting was the GFA president Kurt E.S Okraku and some executive council members with the top hierarchy of the Referees Association present.

Discussions held is believed to centre around the upcoming premier league season and the mountain of debts owed the RAG from previous years.

It was a fruitful meeting which the GFA shared with RAG its vision of restoring integrity and confidence in refereeing in the country. Many issues of concern, including the development and welfare of referees were also discussed.

The new Ghana FA also took the opportunity to outline its vision to the referees association and how the body is a key stakeholder in carrying out this vision.
Referees where at the centre stage of the Anas expose and according to our sources the new GFA boss urges them to protect the integrity of the game by guarding against such acts in the future.

The Referees Association were thankful to the GFA for the meeting and promised to make their tenure a success in their own small way.
