The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has handed down a significant punishment to attacker Solomon Sarfo Taylor, imposing a three-year ban on him from all football activities due to double registration.

Sarfo Taylor, formerly of Asante Kotoko, found himself in hot water after it was discovered that he had engaged in double registration, a serious violation of football regulations.

This misconduct prompted the club to consider terminating his contract.

Despite resistance from Sarfo Taylor, who contested the allegations, the club proceeded to file a protest against him over inconsistencies in his registration documents.

In a ruling delivered on Monday, April 15, the Disciplinary Committee found Sarfo Taylor guilty of falsifying his registration documents, resulting in the imposition of the three-year ban.

The GFA, in its notice, stated, "Solomon Sarfo Taylor has been banned from participating in matches and competitions organized by the GFA for a period of three years.

The Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of falsifying his registration documents."

Furthermore, Sarfo Taylor's player license has been revoked in accordance with the ruling.
